Welcome to the 5th Annual WOMEN ROCK!
 As
always, were excited once again to start planning for Women
Rock. This year Women Rock V will take place on Saturday,
November 7th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Spirit Mountain
(MN deer hunting opener, ladies!) overlooking beautiful Lake
Superior.
Women Rock is a special fundraiser for Breast
Cancer where you can sample good eats & drinks, relax,
pamper yourself with a massage, relaxing body treatments,
shopping (jewelry, beauty products, purses, items for your
home, skiing, clothing, etc.), watch a fashion show with
Coldwater Creek, enjoy the Madill Dancers, live music, learn
from vendors about their products, educate yourself about
early warning signs of breast cancer and also learn about
brand new equipment/technology in St.
Luke’s Regional
Breast Cancer Center – a
Gammagram (similar to an MRI – no breast compression)! And,
as always, our great silent auction with hundreds of items,
trips and services!
News Flash!! Thanks
to your participation again in 2008 and the support of our
wonderful sponsors, Charter Media Women Rock has donated
a total of over $121,000 in the last 4 years to our local
hospitals for breast cancer patients. Women Rock is
successful because of loyal business partners in the community,
generous donations, an the wonderful volunteers who give
their time to support a great cause – including many
UMD students, and breast cancer survivors.

Women Rock Wednesday!
A special thank you to Black Bear Casino last year for their
50% donation of their Bingo proceeds to the cause on Wednesdays
throughout the month of November in 2008 and also to Incline
Station for donating a day of bowling proceeds to Women Rock
